My Science Project
For my science project I did a bottle rocket. My question was (How Much Water Will I Have to put in the Water Bottle Rocket with What Air
Pressure Will Make It stay In the Air the Longest?) My hypothesis was incorrect because I thought that five cups of water would make it stay in the air the longest. I thought five cups of water would fill the bottle half way full. I thought that if the bottle rocket had water in it than then it would go straighter. It did not. The more water in the rocket there was the lower it stayed. I thought five cups of water would make the bottle stay in the air the longest because it going straight means it will go higher. The higher it is the less it takes to fall. That means it has more time in the air. If the bottle flies at angle than the bottle will be closer to the ground. That will cause the bottle to fall quicker. So it will affect your calculations because it would not be in the air as long. Your calculations won’t be as accurate. We had to present on our project.
